Elbe Bronzebream 1 Hook Trace

Bronze bream can be found throughout the year along the KZN coast but are more predominant from June to December. They feed mainly on seaweed that grows in the inter-tidal area, small crabs and prawns. This is a fine fish to catch on light tackle and most fish caught weigh over a kilogram. They feed mainly rocky areas, shelves, and gullies that have a weed growing on the rocks.

The best baits for Bronze Bream are crayfish, prawn tails, red bait, and mussels.
